Dark Christmas
There's no better time for Christmas post two days after. Today we've got Mark Lanegan again, but we'll listen to christmas carols. The EP that, like always, I'll link at the end of the post is called "Dark Mark does Christmas". It was released in 2012. From that day on, we have a great alternative to dive into on Christmas time that is mostly dominated by Elvis, Crosby or King Cole. Though Mark's take on carols in not nearly as popular as of these artists, it's a great piece of music. The reason behind it being so underrated is partially fault of next to no publicity upon the release. Lanegan's carols are way darker, melancholic which makes them less appealing due to mostly festive atmosphere of christmas. In my opinion though it's worth a shot to just sit with candle light only and immerse yourself in the stories told. MERRY TWO DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS
