Let me tell y'all a story.
Once upon a time there was a great band named Screaming Trees. But unlike Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden, they didn't break on through to the mainstream side (pun intended), but still, they had great albums that i keep on listening and one of them will be posted some other time. We all gathered here to talk about mr. Mark Lanegan, the vocalist of Screaming Trees that started his solo carreer. Even though he released mostly great to epic albums I'll force myself to choose just one of them that I feel most connected with, which is... Wait for it... Whiskey for the Holy Ghost. It's his second solo album released in 1993. It's raw, dirty and with the voice of Lanegan you feel as if you were sitting in a smoky bar and drinking your 6th whiskey. Enjoy listening!
