Knock Knock
Well it's no Santa, it's Lanegan! Ross
Horton, one of the authors publishing in ''The line of best fit''
website, wrote a review upon release of the latest Mark Lanengan's
album, ''Somebody's knocking''. Firstly Ross sums up all the Mark's
collaborations with such bands and artists as Isobel Campbell, Duke
Garwood, Greg Dulli, Soulsavers or Queens of the stone age. The
summary is meant to underline the breakthrough that Lanegan's new
album is as it's the culmination of his work, it's the point to which
he was aspiring for a long time. So as the author writes, Mark has
finally surpassed his past achievements, forgotten his past lives and
cast off his old names. The article also reviews shortly every song
on the new album in order to describe and emphasise the position Mark
Lanegan has taken in the music world as he finally liberates his
genious and takes over the throne of gothic rock, what he was
attempting since the release of ''Bubblegum'' in 2004
