Sorry for Waiting
Aloha!
In this post we've got somebody very special to me. And today is his 70th birthday, so no better opportunity could be found. He's a poet, bard, actor and multi instrumentalist. And his name is Tom Waits. It's a very specific, eccentric artist. One of my idols along with Mark Lanegan. The story of Waits is pretty long as he was constantly evolving when it comes to his artistic creation. He went through jazz, delta blues, rock, folk including catchy melodies from pop. He also composed film music for example, one of my favourite movies, "Night on Earth" by Jim Jarmusch. As Tom's creation is very diverse it was really hard to choose only one album, but here it comes, "Mule Variations"
DON'T WAIT
